YanJian is an assistant researcher in CCCPE. He is a doctor student of political science in Remin University of China. He got his master degree of international relations at Beijing Normal University in 2005.

Doctor Yan is also the assistant to Professor Yu Keping, the director of CCCPE.

His major research interest is overseas China studies.
